Aptive HTG received a contract from the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation (OPCC&CT). Through this new initiative, Aptive HTG supports the Employee Whole Health (EWH) team as it expands the Chief Employee Well-Being Officer (CWO) role across all VHA Medical Centers (VAMCs) and Veterans Integrated Services Networks (VISNs).

OPCC&CT’s primary goal is to transform VHA from the traditional model of health care to a more personalized, proactive, patient-driven model that focuses on developing and advancing Whole Health for Veterans and employees. The EWH team supports the development of CWOs to promote professional fulfillment and burnout mitigation as recommended from the national taskforce to Reduce Employee Burnout and Optimize Organizational Thriving (REBOOT).

“Aptive prioritizes the well-being of its employees; our team will put forth the same prioritization for the Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation because employees are extremely valuable assets to an organization,” said Ari Friedman, Aptive's Director of Health Solutions. “Due to the pandemic, the definition of work has changed. We look forward to helping OPCC&CT and EWH mitigate burnout by supporting the implementation of this new role throughout VHA facilities.”

This 3-year, $6.5M task order falls within the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under this IDIQ, Aptive HTG and IHT partners support VHA across a variety of areas as needs arise, including health care modernization and transformation, financial management business transformation, analytics and mental health and suicide prevention.

Aptive HTG is a joint venture between Aptive Resources and ECS, formerly ERPi. Aptive HTG’s solutions integrate people, policies, processes and technology into an efficient, secure, scalable operation for better health care and outcomes.
