Aptive HTG received a five-year contract to provide comprehensive marketing services and campaign support to the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
The National Center’s PTSD Consultation Program provides consultation and continuing education to any health care provider treating Veterans in any setting. It was launched for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) providers in 2010 and expanded in 2015 to offer consultation on PTSD-related questions to providers who treat Veterans outside VHA. The PTSD Consultation Program also offers continuing education, information and clinical resources, to health professionals who are treating Veterans with PTSD with the goal of improving care available to all Veterans with PTSD, regardless of where they access services.
Aptive HTG will update and execute a comprehensive communications and advertising campaign that focuses on increasing the number of consultation requests coming from community providers to the PTSD Consultation Program.
“We are excited to expand our work for VA’s mental health related programs, especially for an initiative with such a meaningful mission,” said Aptive Vice President for Communications and Marketing, Aly Glick. “Our team’s demonstrated experience within VA and on Veteran-centric projects will allow us to successfully help the National Center achieve its goal of increasing the number of consultation requests from community providers.”
“Because of the nature of their service, Veterans face a high risk of PTSD. While national data suggests PTSD acceptance and treatment is on the rise, many of those providing treatment outside VA are not fully equipped to handle the specialized need of those that have borne the battle. We aim to change that. We’re tremendously honored to have this opportunity to support the National Center and look forward to developing an effective outreach campaign to ensure community providers have the knowledge and tools they need to support our Veterans,” said Kay Bagchi, Aptive’s Director of Population Health and Mental Wellness.
This task order falls within the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under this IDIQ, Aptive HTG and IHT partners support VHA across a variety of areas as needs arise, including health care modernization and transformation, financial management business transformation, analytics and mental health and suicide prevention.
