Aptive HTG received a three-year contract to assist the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in planning, implementing and operationalizing the newly approved Office of Tribal Health.
The Office of Tribal Health is VHA’s lead in facilitating collaboration activities and streamlining access to health care with the Indian Health Services (IHS) Health System and Tribal Healthcare Programs. Together these entities are charged with providing reliable, affordable, quality health care and address health disparities for more than 150,000 American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) Veterans.
Aptive HTG supports development, structure, stand up and reporting for the newly formed Office and helps optimize relationships and improve services and access to care. Aptive HTG also provides strategic communications planning and project management expertise to support workflow, deliverables and deadline management.
“Supporting the Veterans Health Administration as it opens a new Office of Tribal Health underscores our collective commitment to provide quality health care and services for tribal Veterans,” said Nashira Nicholson, Aptive Vice President for Health Services. “We’re honored to be a part of this important initiative.”
This task order falls within the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under this IDIQ, Aptive HTG and IHT partners support VHA across a variety of areas as needs arise, including health care modernization and transformation, financial management business transformation, analytics and mental health and suicide prevention.
Aptive HTG is a joint venture between Aptive Resources and ECS, formerly ERPi. Aptive HTG’s solutions integrate people, policies, processes and technology into an efficient, secure, scalable operation for better health care and outcomes.
